About Michael Owens
Born in Norfolk, Virginia, Michael Owens is the child of a military officer father and accountant mother. Michael Owens is now the proud father of five young men, three of which have served in the Navy, Army, and Air Force.
Professionally, Owens has a long-standing track record of driving company performance and team building. Over the past 34 years, he climbed from stock boy to Executive Vice President of Footlocker with leadership responsibilities over twenty-two thousand employees in the United States and across the globe. He has consistently broken records in global sales, professional achievement, and revenue growth.
Tapping into both his personal and professional experiences, Michael Owens launched Owensreach, a full service consultancy company specializing in retail innovation. Owens has also personally been utilized as a coach by many individuals and institutions to help them achieve their full potential. The deep and personal connection he fosters with clients drives them to achieve things they once thought impossible.
